The City of Richland Center is seeking a candidate for the full-time position of Lead Maintenance Worker in the Building & Grounds Department. The semiskilled to skilled position of Lead Maintenance Worker conducts a variety of custodial, maintenance, and repair tasks in the areas of parks, forestry, cemetery, and public facilities. This position will act as a team lead for other Buildings & Grounds employees by overseeing daily work activities. General physical labor is required.

 

Requirements: Qualified candidates shall have graduated from high school or possess a GED. Experience in construction, electrical, plumbing, maintenance, equipment repair, forestry, or horticulture. Valid Driver’s License required. Possession of Class A Driver's License (CDL) highly preferred. Candidate must be available for duty beyond normal work day as required to assist with snow removal, burials, or other related duties. Starting wage for this position is $22-$23.08 per hour (80 hours bi-weekly) depending on qualifications. Successful candidates will be subject to a background check.
