Position Available: Basketball Scorekeeper (Winter Seasonal Position)

The Richland Center Parks and Recreation Department is looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to fill seasonal fall/winter positions as a Basketball Score Keeper. Workers must be 15 years of age.

The Basketball Scorekeeper is responsible for operating the scoreboard and maintaining records of scheduled basketball games coordinated by the Parks and Recreation Department. Basketball games are played on Sunday nights, January – March.

Key Responsibilities:

-Operate the scoreboard in an accurate and efficient manner and complete a score book for each game.

-Keep accurate records of each basketball game, including scoring, time-outs, fouls, time, etc.

-Turn in paperwork and game results to the Parks and Recreation Director

-Prepare facility before games and clean and take down all equipment after games.
