Canoeing & Kayaking

Check out the Pine River! Local volunteers and organizations have been busy cleaning and improving the Pine River and recreational trails to make it a fabulous outdoor experience! There are several ports along the Pine River to begin your canoeing or kayaking adventure. The Rockbridge (northern) stretch of river is a wooded area with many amazing rock outcroppings, deep pools, and Grade A Trout Fishing. The Richland Center portion is a slower part of the river where you can see the town from a whole different angle. This is a great place for learning to kayak.

Handicapped accessible ports are also located along the route. 

Don't overlook the Wisconsin River which forms the entire southern border of Richland County for fishing and paddle sports...Highway 60 is known as the Lower Wisconsin River Road and is a Wisconsin Scenic Byway.
