The concept is simple. The rewards are priceless! Read a book (any book) to your newborn, infant, and/or toddler. The goal is to read 1,000 books (yes, you can repeat books) before your little one starts Kindergarten. If you read just one book a night, you will have read 365 books in one year, 730 books in two years, and 1,095 books in three years. Log your reading in Beanstack and earn badges all along the way, or use paper tracking sheets available at the library.
Celebrate Smokey Bear’s 80th Birthday. Join Smokey in learning about wildfires and the environment. Read books, take action, and have fun! Kids earn badges and prizes as they read and take action. Get started today! More info at Smokeybear.com.
The Richland County Fair is September 5-8, 2024. Kids 0-18 can pick up a reading log at the Brewer Public Library after July 24th, and log 400 minutes of reading during the month of August. Return your completed reading log to us before September 5th and receive three ride vouchers to redeem at the Richland County Fair. Quantities are limited. One reading log per child.
You will need to create an account with Beanstack. If you need assistance, please call us at (608) 647-6444.
